Ty Gurfein
Ty Gurfein is a danseur performing with the Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company. He trained at the School of American Ballet from age 9 on full scholarship, studying with Peter Boal and Olga Kostritsky. At SAB Ty danced with New York City Ballet in Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. Ty enrolled in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre at age 14. He studied there for two years under John Meehan and Franco De Vita and joined ABT II in 2007.
